460 Lacrosse Shines at Liberty National Elite Classic
This past weekend, 460 Lacrosse made a statement at the Liberty National Elite Classic in North East, Maryland — one of the premier events on the summer circuit.
The 2027 squad took on the challenge of playing up in the 2026A division and held their own in a tough bracket. They finished the weekend 2-1-1, showcasing grit, defensive strength, and flashes of offensive brilliance. Despite facing bigger and older competition, the 2027s rose to the moment and walked away with valuable experience and momentum heading into the back half of summer.
Meanwhile, the 2028 team put together an electric run in the 2028A division, making their way all the way to the championship game. After going 2-0 in Saturday’s pool play, they carried that energy into Sunday, securing hard-fought wins over national-level programs including the Clippers (Annapolis), Louisville Kings, and 3d Garden State. In the title game, 460 battled Gunpowder Lacrosse Club down to the wire, eventually falling 6-5 in overtime in a thrilling finish.
Both teams demonstrated what 460 Lacrosse is all about — resilience, unity, and a commitment to compete at the highest level.
As the summer continues, these performances reflect the strength of the program and the CULTURE being built across every age group.
