NC Lax Fest Recap

Christiansburg, VA - 460 Lacrosse closed it's fall season with a tournament in North Carolina, NC Lax Fest.  It was a banner weekend for the club as 3 teams ended up playing for hardware on Sunday.

Our 10U team made their first ever appearance on the field.  While they are mostly 2033 they played against teams that are a year older than them, 2032.  It's great, they are continuing to compete and battle.  They got a win on Saturday and lost in OT in Sunday.  Good outing for the boys!

Our 12U squad was short multiple players, but were able to compete and find themselves with a 1-3 record but two losses by combined 4 goals shows some strong compete level.  Excellent progress from the summer.

Our 2028 squad picked up where they left off snagging two wins on Saturday with one, one goal loss.  On Sunday they went to overtime with Carolina Coast, a team that had beat us in the summer, but we were able to get the win on a game winner from Quinn McHill.  The team came up short in the championship against a Top 15 Team 91 Blue team.

Our 2027 squad snatched two dominating victories on Saturday with one lopsided loss.  Well getting back to the championship they would have a chance to avenge that 9-0 loss and they nearly did.  Improvements across the board lead to a 3-4 loss in the championship game.

Our HS team, in their first ever season, snatched a championship with a pair of strong victories on Sunday beating Carolina Eagles 8-5 and Red Devil 2024 8-7. This team has continued to grow each and every game, practice and a fitting end to a strong season.
