460 Lacrosse Teams Shine at Carolina Show: Culture, Grit, and Growth on Full Display

ROANOKE, VA — 460 Lacrosse made a statement at the Carolina Show this past weekend as both the 2031 and 2032/33 teams showcased their development, toughness, and CULTURE on the field.

The 2032/33 team battled their way to a third-place finish in the 2032 division, relying on relentless hustle, excellent groundball play, accurate shooting, and a stout defensive performance throughout the tournament. Their execution and resilience were clear signs of their growth this summer.

“These kids came to compete,” said Coach Mike Stein. “We talk a lot about CULTURE—playing hard, playing together, and holding each other accountable—and these boys embraced that all weekend. I couldn’t be prouder of how hard they worked.”

Meanwhile, the 2031 team finished 3-2 on the weekend, showing flashes of brilliance and maturity in all phases of the game. Their success was driven by sharp ball movement, a dominant presence at the faceoff dot, and a disciplined, physical defense.

“This group continues to rise to the challenge,” said Coach Panchito Ojeda. “They’ve bought into what we’re building at 460—CULTURE, effort, and selfless play. Every week we see new levels from them, and this weekend was no different.”

With both teams turning in standout performances, the future of 460 Lacrosse looks bright. As the summer continues, the focus remains on development, team-first play, and building a foundation for long-term success both on and off the field.
