460 Lacrosse Youth Programs Kick Off Summer with Energy, Effort, & CULTURE
Christiansburg, VA —May 23, 2025 - The first week of summer practices is officially in the books for 460 Lacrosse, and the future is bright! From our 2031 boys to the 8U Rippers and our Girls Academy, every athlete hit the ground running with energy, enthusiasm, and a shared commitment to development and CULTURE.
With the 2032/33 group sharpening their skills, the 2031 squad stepping up their pace, our Rippers taking their first-ever summer reps, and the Girls Academy showing up ready to grow—this was a kick-butt start to the summer. But more than just stickwork and speed ladders, we saw something even more important: teammates building each other up, coaches setting standards, and families rallying around the mission.
“Wins will come, but what we’re really after is development,” said Program Director Panchito Ojeda. “Development as players, athletes, and teammates. If we focus on doing things the right way—on and off the field—we’re going to continue to build something special.”
That commitment to CULTURE is what sets 460 apart. Practices this week weren’t just about drills—they were about energy, accountability, and being part of something bigger. From the first whistle to the last team huddle, our players are already setting the tone for what’s shaping up to be an unforgettable summer.
Stay tuned—tournaments, scrimmages, team events, and plenty of lacrosse fun are right around the corner.
